Stoneleigh Restoration Show

The club kindly invited me onto  the stand to show off some of the mods to date and to demo and chat to anyone who would listen about what can be done to the Marina.

 

 
The Coupe seemed to attract lots of interest, we deliberately left the front of the area open, to encourage people onto the stand so they felt more involved in what was going on.  Even the nice man from Practical Classics liked it and asked about what had been done.

 

The car was a bit of a mess when I got there and the Chairman (Andy Walsingham) set to and polished her up a treat - shame he missed the bonnet!
Lots of people were interested in the Spax conversion, I think it was the yellow shocker dangling under a Marina that surprised them.
   

 

The Motley Crew (2) - I'm the fat one on the right.  Andy Morris was involved too but missed out on the shot (sorry Andy), I believe he moved a fair bit of Club merchandise - well done.

 
 

And now finally it can be revealed, we won a prize!  Third to be exact, shared with the Lanchester owners club - we walked away with the princely sum of £100.
