Annual National Show pages!
National 2007
The decision at the last AGM was once again to move the show about the
country to give all our members the chance of coming along to a
National. This year it's Dorset, a beautiful county with glorious
scenery and lots to do. The location chosen is the
Haynes International Motor Museum
in Sparkford. As ever the meeting is over two days; Saturday 14th
June and Sunday 15th June.
Car Run
Saturday sees us taking on a 40-50 mile tour of the area; visiting in
some places of interest and the opportunity for group photos etc.
The start will be from the Haynes Museum car-park, returning 2-3 hours
later, there's usually some kind of get together in the evening for
those members stopping over in the area. More details closer to the day.
Car Run 2007
Show & Shine
Sunday will see our traditional, show, shine, judging, prize giving,
personal autojumble and swap meet. Come and see everything from
some real show only cars to some everyday transport. All marina
and Ital types are welcome, including commercials and Marina & Ital
based kit cars.
National 2007
Haynes International Motor Museum
Probably one of the friendliest shows you will ever attend, the motor museum has agreed to a special discount for entry and has a full days entertainment laid on for the public so we shan't get bored.
The
museum have a Dream Rides promotion this weekend attracts 1000's of
people every year and we have offered to have a Marina as someone’s
Dream Ride! You could get the chance to ride in your other Dream
Car if you are lucky. Don't forget that the Sunday will be
Father's day!
We have been given a prime location right outside the Museum entrance
with space for over 50 cars if needed. The discount scheme is on our
club group booking with the following tariff available only on the
production of a current membership card:
Adults: £5.50
Seniors/Disabled: £4.50
Children: £2.50
